E-auto Seva launched in Nava Raipur

RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated an eco-friendly public transport service, E-Auto Seva, in Nava Raipur on Friday. The initiative has been launched in partnership with the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority and the Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission, Bihan.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister emphasized that the initiative is more than just a transport service—it represents a meaningful step toward empowering women and encouraging self-reliance and entrepreneurship. The e-auto service will be operated entirely by women from self-help groups. A total of 40 women from 15 village organizations across three clusters will run the service.

These electric autos will cover key areas within a 130-kilometer radius, including residential zones, offices, the railway station, airport, and jungle safari points. As part of the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, the initiative is expected to significantly boost the income of the participating women, helping them become financially stable and independent.

The Chief Minister noted that the service will soon become a model for local transport—offering a clean, affordable, and convenient commuting option for residents of Nawa Raipur.

Also present at the launch were Housing and Environment Minister O.P. Chaudhary, MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the CM Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to the CM P. Dayanand, and other senior officials including Rajat Kumar, Ankit Anand, and NRDA CEO Saurabh Kumar.
