Application for CM Good Governance Fellowship opens

RAIPUR,CG(INDIA): The Government of Chhattisgarh has invited applications for the Chief Minister Good Governance Fellowship, which will be open from April 23 to May 11. The initiative, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, aims to prepare a new generation of skilled and committed administrators by offering a unique blend of academic education and hands-on experience in governance.

As part of the fellowship, selected candidates will pursue a two-year MBA-equivalent postgraduate program in Public Policy and Good Governance, conducted in collaboration with IIM Raipur. Alongside classroom learning, fellows will receive practical training by working directly with government departments, where they will contribute to policy planning, implementation, and assessment. Their role will include analyzing data to evaluate the impact of government schemes, streamlining administrative processes, and strengthening the use of technology in governance.

The fellowship is open to youth who are residents of Chhattisgarh, under the age of 35, and have completed at least a graduation degree. Selection will be based on performance in the CAT exam. Selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend of ₹50,000, and the government will cover the full cost of the academic program. Candidates must also ensure that their Aadhaar and bank accounts are linked to their mobile number for smooth processing.

Fellows will be deeply involved in the functioning of government departments, think tanks, NGOs, and even the private sector, helping to align policy decisions with ground realities. Their work will promote efficiency, transparency, and citizen-centric governance. By contributing to data-driven decision making, resource optimization, and e-governance initiatives, they will help make government services more inclusive and responsive to people’s needs.

This fellowship is not only a chance for young professionals to gain advanced training but also an opportunity to shape the future of governance in Chhattisgarh. It reflects the state’s commitment to innovation, administrative reform, and citizen engagement. Through this program, Chhattisgarh aims to build a more capable and responsive government, paving the way for a more inclusive and progressive future.
