RAIPUR,CG(INDIA): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is set to attend two major national events in Mumbai on April 23 and 24, focusing on the textile and steel industries. These events, taking place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, aim to promote Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy and attract fresh investments to the state.
During his visit, the Chief Minister will present Chhattisgarh’s development plans, policy reforms, and investment-friendly environment to leading industrialists and policy makers from across the country.
On April 23, CM Sai will participate in the CMAI Fab Show, India’s leading textile industry event organized by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India. Here, he will highlight the state’s renewed support for the textile sector through its updated industrial policy, which includes benefits such as land allocation, logistics support, power subsidies, and export assistance. Investment proposals and MoUs with selected companies are expected during the event.
The focus will shift to the steel sector on April 24, when CM Sai will attend the inaugural session of India Steel 2025 as a special guest. The event will feature a virtual address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. CM Sai will deliver a keynote speech presenting Chhattisgarh’s roadmap for becoming a major steel industry hub. He will outline plans for dedicated steel clusters, improved logistics, and streamlined regulations.
A Chhattisgarh Round Table will also take place on the same day, where the Chief Minister will meet directly with potential investors to discuss opportunities, especially in the steel sector. Topics will include industrial cluster development, single-window clearance systems, and worker-friendly policies.
CM Sai will also visit the Chhattisgarh State Pavilion, which will showcase the state's industrial strengths, infrastructure, and policy incentives designed to attract new business ventures.
He is scheduled to speak with the media at 1 PM on both days at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, where he will provide updates on the events, Chhattisgarh’s investment strategy, and the state’s growing role in India’s industrial growth.
