RAIPUR: The Chhattisgarh farmers’ should not face any problem during sale of paddy under minimum support price, said Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday.
He asked all the district collectors to make complete preparations for the purchase of paddy at the minimum support price for the Kharif marketing year 2022-23.
He was addressing the two-day Collector and Superintendent of Police Conference, held at New Circuit House, here an official communication said.
Reviewing the preparations, he said law and order during paddy procurement and implementation of various government schemes be ensured.
He said the paddy procurement will commence from November 1. For the Kharif marketing year 2022-23, the target is 1.10 crore metric tonne. The collector needs to provide availability of gunny bags on priority and facilities in the paddy procurement centres.
