RAIPUR: The Housing and Environment Department, Government of Chhattisgarh has issued guidelines on Saturday on the use of loudspeakers for the eve of New Year and at New Year. The guidelines state that during the programmes, the permission is granted from 10.00 a.m to 12 midnight on the nights of December 31 and January 1, 2023. All the district collectors and superintendents of police have been asked to ensure arrangements under noise pollution rules. They have been asked to ensure wide publicity and strict compliance of the Noise Pollution Rules.
