Prerita Mahila Samiti organised Sharad Mela 2023 at NTPC Lara

Ashwini Kumar Tripathy, RED (WR-II) & ED (OS) and Smt Uma Tripathy, President (Arpita Maila Samiti) inaugurated Sharad Mela 2023, organized by Prerita Mahila Samiti, NTPC Lara on 4th January 2023. Large numbers of stalls of different varieties of food items, household articles, vehicles, clothes etc were opened by vendors. Besides, members of Prerita Mahila Samiti made their stalls, decorated with traditional value of different Indian states, served various mouth-watering food items to the visitors. For entertainment of visitors cultural programme was performed by local Chhattisgarhi folk dancers. Fun game, micky mouse jumping house, trampoline, toy horse ridding was also there for amusement of small children. Besides fun and amusement, Prerita Mahila Samiti use this occasion for the welfare of senior citizens and differently abled staying in oldage home and destitute home of district Raigarh. Smt Uma Tripathy, President (Arpita Mahila Samiti) and Smt Seema Kaushik, President (Prerita Mahila Samiti) donated blankets to the inmates of Senior Citizen home and differently abled home of Raigarh. Dignitaries from nearby projects, Ghanshyam Prajapati, ED (Sipat) and Somesh Bandopadhyay, HoP (Tailaipali Coal Minning Project) was also part of this celebrations and enjoyed the mela along with Diwakar Kaushik, ED (Lara) and all GM’s of NTPC Lara. For successful organisation Smt Seema Kaushik, President Prerita Mahila Samiti thanked all the stake holders.
