RAIPUR: The Government of Chhattisgarh, on Monday officially declared a public holiday for the upcoming ‘Govardhan Pooja’ festival on November 13.
The order issued by the General Administration Department, states that previously it has been declared a local holiday for Govardhan Pooja, November 13.
However, the Bhai Dooj festival, November 15, has been declared as a local holiday for the government offices and institutions situated in Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar, and Raipur city. The local holiday will not apply to banking establishments, treasuries, and sub-treasuries.
