RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singh Deo on Friday asked the officers to vaccinate all the health workers against Hepatitis- B. It is to prevent infection.
Singh Deo was holding a meeting of the State Steering Committee of the National Viral Hepatitis Control Programme at a private hotel in Raipur.
He asked to keep a separate dialysis machine reserved for dialysis of hepatitis positive patients. The meeting discussed prevention, diagnosis and treatment of hepatitis in detail.
All senior administrative officers of the health department, State Nodal Officer of National Viral Hepatitis Control Program and others were present.
