Bemetara, Chhattisgarh: Several events were organised under the Chhattisgarh State Legal Services Authority, Bilaspur, District and Sessions Judge/Chairman, and District Legal Services Authority to mark the occasion of Constitution Day.
The Paralegal Volunteers of the Authority visited different government schools by organizing a legal literacy camp in School Parpodi and Government Pre-Secondary School Kandraka. The school students were given information about the fundamental rights, fundamental duties mentioned in the Constitution and the Preamble of the Constitution, and of laws useful in the life of students.
The short films ‘The Under-18, Good Touch, Bad Touch, Right to Education’ were shown to the school children through the projector through Janchetna YouTube channel operated by SALSA.
Also, the school students were shown the Constitution among them. Related quiz competitions, rangoli, and painting were organized. Also, a rally was taken out by school girls. The children participating in the rally toured the villages carrying awareness slogan placards in their hands and made people aware about the Constitution.
