Jashpur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai flagged off the ‘Road Safety Helmet Awareness Rally’ and ‘Anjor Rath’ from his home village Bagiya in Jashpur district.
Sai appealed to everyone to follow the traffic rules. He said that one must wear a helmet while riding a two-wheeler and must wear a seat belt while riding a four-wheeler. Don't drive drunk. Do not walk carelessly on the road. Many lives are at stake due to one small mistake. Therefore, follow the rules responsibly.
MLA Pathalgaon Gomti Sai, IG Ankit Garg, CCF Naveed Sajauddin, Collector Dr. Ravi Mittal, SP D. Ravi Shankar and other public representatives and senior officers were present.
Jashpur District Police Department organised the rally under the 34th National Road Safety Month 2024 to motivate people to follow the rules by making them aware about the adverse consequences of violating traffic rules. The general public will be made aware about the precautions to be taken for road safety and cyber security through video films in Nava Anjor Rath. The vehicle will tour the entire district till next month.
