Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh: Ms. Vedepalli Devipriya, a final year B.Tech student of Computer Science Engineering under the School of Engineering and Technology of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (a Central University), has secured a package of 50 lakhs annually. The Trigon Tech Company from Texas, USA, has offered this annual package to Devipriya. Ms. Vedepalli Devipriya is a student of academic session 2020-2024.

The selected student, Ms. Vedepalli Devipriya, met with the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Alok Kumar Chakrawal, and received his blessings. On the occasion, Professor Chakrawal congratulated Devipriya on her achievement and wished her a bright future. He emphasized that the Central University has provided opportunities for innovation and young talents in the fields of technology and communication. Devipriya's selection on an excellent package serves, he said, as evidence that the university is aligned with the needs of the industrial world in the fields of engineering and technology. 

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chakrawal, stated that any life goal can be achieved with discipline, hard work, honesty, and dedication. He encouraged the youth to contribute to nation-building by utilizing their skills and knowledge for the upliftment of every stratum of society. He highlighted that the National Education Policy-2020 provides options for experiential education in skill development and entrepreneurship with more autonomy, leading students towards enhanced employability. 

On this occasion, the Registrar, Prof. Manish Shrivastava, along with the Dean, Prof. S.C. Srivastava and Head of the Department, Dr. Alok Kumar Singh Kushwaha, wished the successful students a bright future. Devipriya credited her success to the meaningful efforts of her parents, family, and department teachers, Satish Negi and Pushpendra Chandra. 

Success Achieved After 6 Rounds of Difficult Examination

Devipriya successfully navigated a challenging six-round selection process conducted by the company. The process included aptitude test, finding errors, coding challenge I-II, interview, and an interview with the Human Resource Department. It is noteworthy that, in addition to the 50 lakh package, the company has covered accommodation and travel expenses for Devipriya, who will be working as a data analytics and data scientist in the company.
