Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Recently MMI Narayana Hospital Raipur have done  successful bone marrow transplant of 63-year old Baldau Ram Sen. He was suffering from Lymphoma (blood cancer) for the last 3 years due to which he had severe  weakness and significant weight loss .

Mr. Sen was  given immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Followed by high dose multiagent chemotherapy to wash off cancer cells,then  through peripheral vein  stem cell infusion given, this whole procedure of bone marrow transplant has taken 3 weeks. Bone marrow transplant was successful and the patient is cured from this dreaded disease.
