Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Chhattisgarh School and Higher Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal on Wednesday said it is a proud moment for us as foreign students are influenced by Chhattisgarhi culture.
He was addressing the delegation of South Korean students that met him. Meaningful discussions were held on issues like environment, human rights and public welfare during the meeting.
Agarwal said that environment related problems are one of the most important issues in today's time. All have to make joint efforts to deal with problems like climate change, pollution and depletion of natural resources. By emphasizing environmental awareness in educational institutions can educate students about the importance of the environment. Programs like tree plantation campaign, cleanliness campaigns should be organized in these institutions. Need to pay special attention to environment-friendly infrastructure such as use of solar energy, water conservation and waste management.
ASEZ is a global organization of university student volunteers which run “Save the Earth” campaign across the world. Under it, public awareness programs are organized on various issues of environmental protection. The team is on tour to Chhattisgarh for the last two weeks. The group of students praised Chhattisgarhi culture and food. The delegation included Charlie, Kevin, Luke, Eric from South Korea.
