MISA detainees to get pension, new milk route: CM

Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday replying to the demands for grants for his departments pledged to recommence the 'MISA detainees’ pension, set up a milk route and a chilling plant for the milk businessmen.

He was replying to the discussion of demands of grants during the budget session of Chhattisgarh Assembly.

He said it is the BJP's gratitude that it has given such a big responsibility to the farmer's son. Never asked him in the party whether he was making anything.

He said BJP is the largest political party in the world. In the last 5 years, Congress was given power by the public with a huge mandate. They came into government with 36 promises. But the promise was broken.

Under the Excise Department, a provision of Rs 1 crore has been made for the creation of 188 new posts for the formation of district level flying squad for effective control of crimes at the district level and quick action on the complaints received. Under the Excise Department, 325 new posts will be created for the formation of Excise Check Post for effective control and prevention of illegal transportation of liquor and drugs from other states, Sai added.

Farmers are being given a rebate of 6,000 units per year in the electricity bill of agricultural pumps up to three HP and 7,500 units per year in the electricity bill of agricultural pumps of three to five HP. About 6.94 lakh farmers of the state are benefiting from it. A provision of Rs 200 crore has been made for the classification of agricultural pumps.
