Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, India: A move to facilitate smooth supply and maintaining good stock of blood in local blood bank, a voluntary blood donation camp was organised by NTPC Lara Health department and Fortis-OP Jindal Blood bank, Raigarh on 1st March 2024 at stabilization centre, NTPC Lara. 30 units of blood collected in this camp. It was inaugurated by Akhilesh Singh, Head of Project, NTPC Lara. Motivating the blood doners Singh appreciated their interest to do such noble work for the service of mankind. Talking to blood doners, Singh described this as “blood donation is the best donation” to save one’s life.
On this occasion Rajeev Ranjan, GM (Operation & Maintenance), Subrat Kumar Swain, GM (Fuel Management), Smt Sangeeta Singh, President, Prerita Mahila Samiti, staffs of Fortis-Op Jindal blood bank, representatives of union and association, employees, doctors, and paramedical staffs were present.
