CSVTU gets Aryabhatta Bhavan, Library Building

Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday dedicated two newly constructed academic buildings, Aryabhatta Bhawan and Library Building, in the campus of Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai.

The Chief Minister garlanded the statue of the great mathematician Aryabhatta located at Aryabhatta Bhawan. Aryabhatta was a great mathematician, astrologer and astronomer of ancient India, who created new and unprecedented inventions and theories.

The Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, MP Vijay Baghel and MLAs were present.

Aryabhatta Bhawan is built at a cost of Rs 10.35 crore. The Diploma, B.Tech (Hons.), M.Tech and Ph.D classes will be conducted under the University Teaching Department in the newly constructed Aryabhatta Bhavan. It will be used for the training and placement of the students, and the international company “Nucleus Tech” has been appointed. The office will also operate here. Officials said that CSVTU Foundation for Rural Technology and Entrepreneurship (CSVTU-Forte) will also operate in the premises.

The new young entrepreneurs will be given incubation centres and financial assistance, so that they can implement their start-up.

A start-up prototype will be made in Aryabhatta Bhawan, the objective of which is to promote Start-up India. CSVTU will create Rural Entrepreneurship Development Centers (REDCs) in its affiliated institutions, where students will be provided financial and mentorship for exploring innovative and market friendly products generated from rural resources.
