JANJGIR,CG: The lives of a mother and son bitten by a poisonous snake in Borsi village of Pamgarh police station area under Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh could not be saved even after they were rushed to Bilaspur CIMS Hospital. Both succumbed.
Pooja Kurre, a resident of Borsi village, was sleeping with her 6 year old son Aryan. A poisonous snake reached the bed and bit the child, leading to his cry. Hearing the cry, she tried to save the child from being further bitten by the snake but she was also bitten by the snake.
The family members rushed both to the hospital but during treatment both succumbed to the poison.
