Follow RTE on priority, connect with dropout children: Singh

RAIPUR,CG: Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh on Monday said Right to Education (RTE) is the first priority. Those drop out, they should be reconnected with education.

He was addressing a meeting of private school operators and nodal principals in the hall of the Medical College.

Singh said following RTE is the first priority. It should be compulsorily followed. Under the Act, provide good education to the children, so that they can progress continuously.  These are such children, whose dream of studying in such schools is being fulfilled through the right to education, please help them in the task.

Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra and officials of the Education Department were present. 

Dr. Singh said that why children do not complete their education midway, it should be reviewed and they should be reconnected with education. The district administration will also collect necessary information regarding dropout children. 

Singh said that education is the first priority. There is a need to promote. The quality of education can be taken to the best level through good teachers of private schools.

District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep said that a better inclusive environment should be created in the school. Give the best education to children so that they become good citizens. Private schools should follow the Right to Education Act in every possible way, so that children of every section of the society can get a good education.

Education Officer Vijay Khandelwal said that private schools should provide accurate information in the RTE records. Prepare and provide updated records. Give information only about the number of students studying. There is a provision in this Act to educate 25 percent children, which must be followed.
