RAIPUR,CG: Kalinga University, a premier educational institution, organized the highly anticipated event, Topper’s Felicitation Ceremony, on 29th May 2024, with the noble objective of recognizing and motivating the exceptional achievements of Class 12th CGBSE, ICSE and CBSE meritorious students. The program aimed to appreciate their hard work, dedication, and outstanding academic performance.

The event started with the lighting of the lamp by Dr. R. Shridhar, Vice Chancellor, Kalinga University and witnessed the gracious presence of Y Rajendra Kumar Rao, CEO, SADA Sirpur, RK Minj, Superintendent of Police - Police Training School, Mana, Raipur, also present were Unnikrishnan Nair, Vice Principal, Adarsh Vidyalaya, Raipur, along with esteemed dignitaries from Kalinga University. The gathering was a testament to the significance of this occasion, with toppers attending the event, accompanied by their proud parents.

Dr. R. Shridhar, Vice-Chancellor, Kalinga University motivated all the students with his speech. Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, the Registrar, gave a welcome speech and congratulated the students for their achievements. He gave an insightful introduction of Kalinga University with an engaging presentation that provided the students and their parents with valuable insights into the university's ethos and academic offerings.   

The event was an exemplary showcase of the university's commitment to nurturing talent and fostering academic excellence. The highlight of the event was the felicitation of the state toppers with prestigious awards, including cash prizes, merit certificates, and 100% scholarships offered by Kalinga University.

The top-performing students were recognized for their exceptional achievements, and their hard work and dedication were rewarded accordingly. 

Ms. Mahek Agrawal and Saheb Singh Hora - CGBSE topper - were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 15,000each along with a Certificate of Appreciation.

Kopal Ambast and Ms. Sanjampreet Kaur – The second toppers of CGBSE & CBSE respectively –were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 12,000 respectively along with Certificate of Appreciation. 

Ms. Bhavya Agrawal, Ms. Nishka Verma and Ms. Ayushi Gupta – The Third toppers of CBSE & CGBSE respectively - wereawarded with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 respectively along with Certificate of Appreciation. 

Additionally, the students ranking from 4th to 10th were each awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 respectively along with Certificate of Appreciation. 

Furthermore, Kalinga University, as a gesture of appreciation and support for these exceptional achievers, extended a 100% scholarship to each of the state toppers and all the students who have scored more than 75% marks. This scholarship opportunity will empower them to pursue higher education without any financial constraints, encouraging them to continue their journey of excellence.

The mementos were presented to the esteemed guests by Abhishek Sharma – Director, Marketing. The master of the ceremony was Ms. Lipsa Dash – Assistant Professor, Faculty of Science. 

Present on the occasion were the Kalinga family members Sumit Chatterjee, J Vishal, Mr Manish Singh, Lt. Vibha Chandrakar, Sheikh Abdul Kadir, Ms. Nikita Joshi along with all members of marketing team.
