RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday attended the ‘Dashgatra’ ritual of Indira Singh, a member of the Surguja royal family.
He paid a humble tribute to her by offering flowers on her portrait. The Chief Minister also met with the bereaved members of the Surguja royal family, including former Deputy Chief Minister TS Singh Deo, and offered his condolences. Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam and Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade were also present.
Indira Singh was wife of former Deputy CM T S Singh Deo. She was battling cancer for the last six months. She passed away on June 13 and cremated on June 15 at Ambikapur.
