Chhattisgarh to become clean, healthy: CM

RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap jointly offered prayers and launched the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Mega Tree Plantation Campaign-2024 at the Biodiversity Park in Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur in state on Thursday.

The campaign is part of the call made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The saplings of Peepal, Neem, Harra and Bahera were planted. Cabinet colleagues, school children, police and security force personnel and forest department staff participated in the campaign.

The Forest Department has a target of planting 4 crore saplings in the entire Chhattisgarh.

“I express my heartfelt gratitude and congratulate the Forest Minister, his department and the people of the state for giving full support to this important campaign,” tweets Chief Minister on X after the plantation drive.

His cabinet colleagues were present on the occasion.
