JASHPUR: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday handed over the 2 lakh sapling of the massive plant distribution campaign going on in Jashpur district under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign to Neelam Toppo, a beneficiary of Mahtari Vandan Yojana of Bandarchua.
In Jashpur district, under the Ek Peed Maa ke Naam campaign, free saplings are being distributed to the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana for massive tree plantation, which was started by Chief Minister on July 14th.
He also distributed certificates to the beneficiaries of the massive plant distribution campaign going on in Jashpur district under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign. CM’s wife Kaushalya Sai was present.
Toppo said she will plant the mango plant in the courtyard of her house in the name of her mother-in-law. Regarding Mahtari Vandan Yojana, she said that she is getting an amount of Rs 1,000 every month. With the amount received last month, she bought notebooks, school bags and study material for her son Ishant Toppo, a class 6 student.
Expressing happiness, she said that this is the first time that she bought something for the child for school with own money. She said she saved some amount for the future so that it can be used in case of emergency.
