Chhattisgarh to have Export Facilitation Centre

RAIPUR,CG: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Tuesday in the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Industries Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan for establishment of Export Facilitation Centre of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Kolkata (IIFT) and Training Centre of Indian Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Ahmedabad.

With the establishment of the Facilitation Center of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in Chhattisgarh, businessmen exporting from Chhattisgarh will be able to get guidance, and export activities from the state will increase.

Besides, the youth of the state will be given training in entrepreneurship development from a training centre to be established in the state at the Indian Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Ahmedabad.

The establishment of these two national level centres in the state will encourage business and commercial activities in the state. The program was organized at the Chief Minister’s residence office, Raipur.
