RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday said as public servants, always remember self-accountability to the people. ‘You are partners in building a transparent and progressive Chhattisgarh’, he adds.
He was addressing the successful candidates from the 2023 Civil Service Examination conducted by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission, encouraging them to embrace their roles with transparency and sensitivity. Speaking at his residence, he congratulated the candidates, their families, and teachers for their hard-earned success.
Acknowledging their exemplary achievement, the Chief Minister emphasized, “Securing top ranks in this challenging examination makes you role models for aspiring youth. Your hard work, determination, and dedication are inspirational. Many will now seek to emulate your journey, wanting to understand your preparation and perseverance”.
The Chief Minister expressed his confidence in their potential to take on key responsibilities in administration. He urged them to perform their duties with integrity, patience, and humility, reinforcing the goal of good governance.
Highlighting the state’s commitment to merit and fairness, he noted that the government has ensured transparency in competitive examinations. The Chief Minister also discussed the challenges candidates faced during the examination and the improvements implemented to enhance the process. Families of the selected candidates shared their earlier concerns regarding fairness, which were dispelled by the reforms.
The Chief Minister inspired the toppers to draw inspiration from Swami Vivekananda's vision and the determination of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. “You are pivotal to maintaining public trust in the administration and contributing to the vision of a developed India outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, he added.
During the program, the toppers—Ravi Shankar Verma, Mrinmayee Shukla, Aastha Sharma, Kiran Singh Rajput, Nandini Sahu, Sonal Yadav, Divyansh Chauhan, Shashank Kumar, Puneet Verma, and Uttam Kumar—shared their success stories, crediting their parents and teachers. They were presented with books and citations based on the lives of Swami Vivekananda, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Narendra Modi.
Sai concluded by expressing pride in the talents of Chhattisgarh’s youth, reiterating his government’s dedication to further improving transparency in competitive examinations.
