RAIPUR: To enhance the efficiency of administrative work in Chhattisgarh, the duties of the Principal Secretary and Secretaries in the Secretariat of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai have been reallocated. An official order detailing the new responsibilities was issued recently. The redistribution of duties is expected to bring greater focus and efficiency to governance in the state.
Principal Secretary Subodh Singh has retained several key departments and issued directives to streamline the responsibilities of officers across all divisions, aiming to improve coordination and expedite administrative processes.
As per the order, the new divisional responsibilities are as follows, Raipur and Durg Division: Mukesh Kumar Bansal has been assigned charge of these two important divisions. Bilaspur Division - P. Dayanand will oversee administrative work in Bilaspur division, Surguja Division-Basavaraju has been appointed as the in-charge of Surguja division and Bastar Division - Rahul Bhagat will manage the Bastar division.
