RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: Vinay Baiswade, International umpire and staff of Life Insurance Corporation of India, Divisional Office, Raipur, has been appointed as the Chief Judge, while Premraj Jachak, also international umpire and Postal Department, Bhilai employee, has been designated as the Deputy Chief Judge. It marks a significant achievement, as it is the first time that the Indian Table Tennis Federation has nominated representatives from Chhattisgarh for these prestigious officiating roles at a national-level event.
The "Second Para National Ranking Table Tennis Championships 2024" and the "Para Senior National Table Tennis Championships 2024" are scheduled to take place from March 17 to 19, 2025, and March 21, 2025, respectively. These events are being organized by the Baroda Table Tennis Association under the supervision of the Indian Table Tennis Federation and the Gujarat State Table Tennis Association.
Additionally, Praveen Nirapur and Nageshwar Sahu from Raipur have been selected as umpires for the tournament. Both officials have previously contributed to numerous national and international tournaments within India and abroad.
In recognition of the accomplishment, Chhattisgarh Table Tennis Association President Kuldeep Juneja, along with Chhattisgarh Olympic Association Vice President Sharad Shukla and other officials, extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes, said Pradeep Joshi, Vice President of the Chhattisgarh Table Tennis Association.
