University Chhattisgarh is set to host its much-awaited 24-hour Hackathon
“AlgoStorm 1.0” from21–22 August 2025 at it’s Raipur campus, organised jointly
by the Amity School of Engineering & Technology (ASET) and Amity
Institute of Information Technology (AIIT) under the flagship of “Piratage
– The Ethical Hacking Club”, in collaboration with the Amity Innovation
Incubator(ALL), Institution’s Innovation Council(IIC),MoE’s Innovation Cell
(Government of India).
Prof.
Dr. Piyush Kant Pandey, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Chhattisgarh,
has appreciated the efforts for holding the event stating that it is an added
milestone for the university. The hackathon has already garnered an
overwhelming response with 50+ teamsregistration and 200+ students
participations from more than 10 universities and colleges across India, who
will compete and collaborate in domainssuch as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity,
Web3, FinTech, Internet of Things (IoT), and Open Innovation. The problem
statements span critical real-world challenges, including AI-powered
healthcare assistants, phishing detection frameworks, blockchain-based
certification systems, wearable safety devices, IoT-enabled infrastructure
monitoring, FinTech innovations, and open innovation challenges for sustainable
development.
Emphasising
the inclusivity of the event, Mr. Pawan Kumar,faculty ASET is the Club
Director of Piratage and coordinator of AlgoStorm 1.O, the high support for
team-formation support, starter kits, and live mentorship to empower first-time
participants is highly encouraging. Dr. Vinay Kumar Singh, Deputy Director,
ASET/AIIT,Prof. Dr. Roshan Mathew, Head, Amity Incubation Centre and Vice
President Institution’s Innovation Council, Dr. Munna Dan, Convener, IIC and
Business Manager, Amity Incubation Centre and Mr. Kranti Kumar Dewangan,
HOD, ASET/AIITare the guiding force, along with the organising committee of
faculty and student leaders, the event promises to be a defining platform for industry-ready
skills, innovation culture, and national collaborations. With ₹70,000+
worth of prizes,certificates, internship opportunities, career-support
resources, and digital badges for every participant of, AlgoStorm 1.0 is poised
to deliver an unforgettable experience of innovation and impact. The hackathon
