RAIPUR: Sanjeev Kumar Katiyar has been appointed as the Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company (CSPGCL) on Thursday.
Energy department, Government of Chhattisgarh issued the order. He will replace N.K. Bijora.
Katiyar on Thursday took charge as Managing Director at Sewa Bhawan, Daganiya headquarter of the power company.
He said his priority will be to generate electricity at a cheaper rate. The emphasis will be laid on efficient sustainable power generation in power houses. For further improvement continuous development training will be imparted.
Before being appointed as Managing Director, he was posted as Executive Director at Hasdeo Thermal Power Station Korba West.
