RAIPUR: To mark World Cancer Day on February 4, Regional Cancer Institute (RCI) under Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College Raipur, Chhattisgarh will hold a series of free cancer screening camps. The cancer experts will hold the first camp at Medical College Mahasamund, on January 30 from 10 am to 2 pm. It is scheduled on January 31 at Government Medical College Rajnandgaon and on February 4 in Regional Cancer Institute Raipur, an official communication said on Saturday. The experts suggested blood and other tests as per requirement and other diagnosis related to cancer will be done on the spot. To create awareness among the people regarding cancer and its treatment, on February 4 at 6.30 am, a Marathon will be organised from Marine Drive Raipur (Telibandha) to Regional Cancer Institute Medical College Raipur, said Director Regional Cancer Institute Dr. Vivek Chaudhary. The cancer survivors will also be felicitated with prize and citation.
