RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday released a Chhattisgarhi play, Suraji Gaon, written by Durga Prasad Parkar, at his office located in the Vidhan Sabha premises.
Parkar’s Chhattisgarhi play is a reflection of the state government’s ambitious Narva, Garva Ghurva, and Bari scheme.
He emphasised on the changes the scheme has brought to the lives of the villagers, along with the strengthening of the rural economy. The play, 'Suraji Gaon' is his attempt to make the public aware of the welfare scheme of the state government so that they can avail its benefits.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel congratulated and extended his best wishes to Durga Prasad Parkar for his new creation.
Food and Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat, Parliamentary Secretary Kunwar Singh Nishad and others were present.
