RAIPUR, CG (INDIA): The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) Chhattisgarh State Chapter organized the Chhattisgarh Solar Conclave in collaboration with Tata Power, Jindal Steel Limited, and BSP Auxiliary Industries Association. Key stakeholders from the renewable energy sector gathered on this occasion.
Pradeep Tandon, Chairman of PHDCCI Chhattisgarh State Chapter, warmly welcomed all participants. He highlighted the immense potential of solar energy in Chhattisgarh, stating, “Chhattisgarh is suitable not only for large solar energy parks but also for decentralized rooftop systems, innovative energy storage technologies, and new financial models. This is just the beginning of the solar energy journey. Through this conclave, we aim to accelerate investment, encourage public-private partnerships, and create an inclusive roadmap for sustainable development.”
Ratan Das Gupta, President of BSP Auxiliary Association Bhilai, emphasized that Chhattisgarh is blessed with abundant solar radiation and availability of land. He remarked, “The state is on the threshold of transitioning from traditional energy sources to sustainable alternatives. We need to accelerate the establishment of solar parks on abandoned lands and provide decentralized solar solutions to farmers, small and medium enterprises, and citizens, integrating solar energy with advanced technologies like energy storage, smart grids, and AI.”
Bimbisar Nagarjun, Superintending Engineer of CSPDCL, stressed the company’s environmental commitments, stating, “This conclave is a meaningful step toward a green Chhattisgarh. CSPDCL is committed to providing clean and affordable energy to citizens. Our goal is to make renewable energy the foundation for the state's development.”
D.D. Sidar, Executive Engineer of CREDA, mentioned, “CREDA is determined to promote renewable energy solutions throughout the state. This initiative not only promotes solar energy but also strengthens innovation, awareness, and energy security.”
Debabrata Chakraborty, Regional Manager of Tata Power, along with their Area Sales Manager and Phoenix Solar Channel Partner, provided a technical presentation on solar energy solutions. He shared, “Tata Power is proud to be part of the Chhattisgarh Solar Conclave. We are committed to supporting this energy transition and moving forward through advanced solar technologies, strategic partnerships, and community initiatives.”
The program concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Sumit Dubey, Resident Director of PHDCCI Chhattisgarh State Chapter. He expressed gratitude to all distinguished guests and participants for their invaluable contributions to this successful event.
