MAHASAMUND: Five archers, two boys and three girls of Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh have been selected for the Residential Archery Academy at Khelo India State Centre of Excellence, Bahtrai Bilaspur.
Chandni Sahu, Padma Sahu, Jaya Sahu, Kamlesh Sahu, and Jayant Thakur had got the selection.
District Sports Officer Manoj Dhritalhare said t the players have to be present in the academy with necessary documents. Earlier, 04 players of the district have been selected in Archery Academy Raipur, in which Sanjay Sonwani and Kodu Ram Verma are at Sai Centre Raipur, Naresh Kumar Thakur, Hemant Nishad and Satyabhama Sahu at Sports Academy Raipur are practicing archery on regular basis.
