CG NEWS: ‘Gadhkaleva’ to be further made attractive

Raipur, CG: ‘Gadhakaleva’ of the capital city Raipur known, for Chhattisgarhi cuisine, will now become more attractive and convenient.

Tribal Welfare Minister Ramvichar Netam reached Gadhkaleva and took stock. He said the people from different areas of Chhattisgarh state as well as other states keep coming and going. More facilities need to be hiked so as to introduce them to Chhattisgarhi food and drink. He emphasised on cleanliness and decoration with attractive artefacts.

Minister enjoyed Chhattisgarhi dishes including Chila, Fara, Lai laddu, Thethri, Khurmi and other Chhattisgarhi dishes with common citizens, youth and intellectuals.

He held discussion with the employees and didis including the managers and asked about the dishes sold here. He also assured all possible help from the state government to make Gadhkaleva attractive.

Netam asked the managers of the self-help group running Gadhkaleva that Dona-Pattal should be used in breakfast and food. It will also provide employment to local people.

Dinesh Jangde, Tourism Officer of Chhattisgarh Tourism Information Centre, officials of Tribal Caste and Culture Department were present.
