Raipur Collector reviews preparations for Rajim Kumbh Kalp

Rajim/Raipur, Chhattisgarh: District Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh on Monday reviewed the preparations of Rajim Kalp Kumbh in the area of Raipur district at Nayapara of Abhanpur tehsil in Chhattisgarh.

He asked the officials to ensure that all arrangements are made for the devotees coming to Kumbh. He directed the municipal officials to maintain cleanliness and form a monitoring team. He called for the Food Department to complete the entire process of the ‘Dal-Bhat Center’ so that it can be started on time. Besides, the PHE department officials were asked to make arrangements for drinking water, toilets and allotment of shops in an organized manner.

He said that the pond to be built in the district for Rajim Kumbh Kalpa should be cleaned properly. Old vehicles should be removed from the roadside. Keep construction materials inside so that traffic remains orderly. He said that mesh and barricades should be installed along the roads near the river.

He asked to form a joint team of Police Administration, Revenue and Municipality for continuous monitoring of Rajim Kumbh.  He also took stock of the construction work of Rajim-Abhanpur Highway in Abhanpur.
