RAIPUR,CG: Raipur Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sanjay Alang has on Friday taken charge of the post of Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University Patan.
The Governor of Chhattisgarh on Friday terminated the Vice Chancellor of the state’s Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University with immediate effect as per the order.
The official communication states that under Section 17 of the Horticulture and Forestry University Act, 2019, the Governor has ordered the removal of Dr. Ram Shankar Kuril from the post of Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University, Patan, Durg with immediate effect.
Under Section 14(7) of Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University Act, 2019, Divisional Commissioner, Raipur Division, Raipur has been nominated to discharge the responsibility as the Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University, Patan, Durg with immediate effect till further orders. In compliance, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sanjay Alang has also taken charge of the post of Vice Chancellor.
