RAIPUR, CG: Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB) to mark the World Environment Day, June 5, is organising a poster competition from 10.00 am in New Convention Hall, New Rest House, Civil Line, Raipur.
The theme of the competition has been kept as ‘Climate change is the biggest challenge of the century’. The poster competition will be organized in four age groups, in which the first category will be for up to 12 years, the second category will be for 13 to 17 years, the third category will be for 18 to 21 years and the fourth category will be for the disabled.
Attractive cash prizes will be given to the contestants in the competition. Awards will be given separately in four age groups. First prize of Rs 5,000, second prize of Rs 3,000, third prize of Rs 2,000 and two consolation prizes of Rs 500 will be given.
The participants of the competition will have to bring a photocopy of their identity card and age certificate. Registration will be done at the competition venue. It is mandatory for participants to be present at 9.30 am for registration. Prizes will be distributed to the winners on June 5 only.
