RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma on Wednesday released the email ID, and Google form at Jagdalpur. He had asked the Naxalites to themselves till what they want in the rehabilitation policy.
Government of Chhattisgarh government has started another initiative to integrate Naxalites into the mainstream. Earlier, State Deputy CM and Home Minister Vijay Sharma has been continuously offering talks to the Naxalites. The offer was to talk over phone through video conferencing. Now as part of new initiative, the government is seeking suggestions from Naxalites regarding the rehabilitation policy.
Naxal Rehabilitation Policy has been implemented in the state for the Naxalites who give up their weapons (surrender) and return to the mainstream. Under this, the Naxalites who give up their weapons are provided agricultural land and other means of livelihood. Now, the government is preparing to make a new rehabilitation policy. The government has also sought suggestions from Naxalites.
