RAIPUR,CG: Syed Anwar Ali was re-elected as president of All District Transport Association of Chhattisgarh during the general body held at a private hotel in Raipur on Wednesday.
All District Transport Association of Chhattisgarh Patrone Pramod Dubey and Legal Advisor Shivesh Singh said that Syed was nominated and all the members gave their consent. He was thus re-elected for the second term.
During the meeting the discussion revolved around the operation of city bus, new toll gate being started on Dhamtari road and the approval of all city buses being issued from Raipur and the agents and hawkers in the bus stands in all the districts and those with All India Permit. There was a discussion regarding the buses that run from the bus stand of the stage carriage and a memorandum was prepared to address the problem. It will be submitted to the Transport Commissioner after forming a delegation.
