RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai sensitivity ensured that a 72-year-old man received hearing aid within two-days of request on Tuesday.
Ramdev Ram Kayta, resident of Kunkuri block of Jashpur district, was unable to hear due to some problem in his ears. Due to his poor financial condition, he did not have enough money for treatment.
Kayta approached the Chief Minister’s residence office on Sunday. He raised the problem to the Chief Minister.
Sai asked the officials to resolve it. In his presence, officials of the Social Welfare Department fitted digital hearing aids in both the ears of Ramdev Ram Kayta. He is now able to hear the sounds with the hearing aid.
He expressed his gratitude towards the Chief Minister for his timely assistance. The department officials said that the hearing aid is a digital instrument of Rs 50,000. It is battery operated.
