RAIPUR,CG: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on Tuesday approved the establishment of 240 seat Government Polytechnic College in Manendragarh Chirmiri Bharatpur district.
The polytechnic college will operate from the academic session 2024-25 and will be established in Chirmiri. In the new Government Polytechnic College, 60 seats for Diploma in Civil Engineering, 60 seats for Diploma in Geographic Information System (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS), 60 seats for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 60 seats for Diploma in Mining Engineering have been approved. The polytechnic college will be affiliated to Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai in Chhattisgarh.
