RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh level program on International Yoga Day will be organized on June 21 at the Science College grounds in Raipur. Yoga practice session will be held.
Senior citizens, disabled people, transgenders and the general public will participate in the program. Participation of students of schools, colleges, universities and the general public will be ensured.
The Chief Secretary, Amitabh Jain, held a meeting at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan for the successful organization of International Yoga Day. Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Pingua was also present.
The Chief Secretary asked the officials of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department to reserve the Science College Ground, the state level program venue of International Yoga Day, and ensure all necessary arrangements.
Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission will make necessary coordination with the State Nodal Officer, Social Welfare Department for training programmes, T-shirts, trek shoots and other arrangements for the programs to be held at various levels in the state on International Yoga Day.
The different departments have been asked to make necessary arrangements including security of the venue.
