BALODABAZAR,CG: Chhattisgarh Cabinet Minister Tank Ram Verma on Tuesday inaugurated a grand exhibition-cum-sale of Kosa, Cotton, and Handloom products in Balodabazar. The event is organized by the Handloom Department, Chhattisgarh Government, and will continue till July 22.
Minister Verma praised the department for organizing such events, saying that they should be held regularly to provide employment opportunities to local people. He appealed to the people of the district to take advantage of the exhibition and purchase more products to promote handloom.
The exhibition features a wide range of Kosa, Cotton, and Handloom products, including sarees, dress materials, salwar suits, and more. The products are made by skilled artisans from Chhattisgarh having been awarded by the President of India.
The exhibition is being held at the Pt. Balimiki Shukla Vipra Vatika Garden Chowk in Balodabazar and will be open from 11 am to 9 pm daily. A special discount of 20% will be offered on all products.
