RAIPUR,CG: The orphan children from village Bhapani of Kawadha district witnessed the proceedings of the Chhattisgarh State Assembly monsoon session on Tuesday.
19 villagers having to collect tendu leaves had died in a tragic accident in village Bahpani of Kawardha district. After the incident, an assistance amount of Rs 5 lakh each was provided to the family members.
MLA Bhavna Bohra took the responsibility of raising these children.
The Chief Minister met these children in the Assembly premises. Sai said, “You people have seen the assembly. Here we all discuss and together prepare policies for the development of the state. Tomorrow when you guys also grow up. And whoever becomes the public representative among you will come here. This is the temple of democracy, from here we prepare the path for the development of the state.”
The Chief Minister said, “Our intention behind showing the Assembly to all of you is that children should understand better how democracy works.”
The Chief Minister inquired about the children and their studies. The children said that their studies are going well. Regarding their village, the children gave detailed information about their village.
The Chief Minister said to MLA Bohra that it is a good point that they are being imparted good education. The more work done in the field of children’s education, the easier it will be to achieve the goal of developed Chhattisgarh.
