CG NEWS: ‘Mor Sangwari’ scheme in four municipalities

RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao expanded the “Mor Sangwari” scheme in four newly formed municipalities of the state, Mandir Hasaud, Banki Mongra, Lormi and Pandariya. He also launched 'Mor Sangwari' app in a program organized at Manas Manch, Lormi.

Through the scheme, 27 types of facilities including birth certificate, death certificate, marriage registration, shop and establishment registration, ration card, income, caste, residence certificate will be provided to the citizens at their doorstep.

Sao said initiative is to take citizen services from government offices to homes. It will be implemented in a phased manner. 27 types of services are being provided to the citizens without any interruption and without approaching the concerned office.

He said that 150 mobile medical units are being operated to provide free health facilities to the people living in slums in the urban bodies of the state. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), permanent houses are being provided to homeless families. Under Swachh Bharat Mission, overall efforts are being made by the civic bodies for effective disposal of solid waste management. He also distributed materials, checks and certificates to the beneficiaries of various schemes in the programme.
