RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain asked the officials of the Urban Administration and Development Department to allot the approved houses to the beneficiaries.
He was chairing the meeting of the State Level Approval and Monitoring Committee under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban (PMAY) at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan, Atal Nagar. The physical and financial progress of construction of sanctioned houses under the approved projects was reviewed in detail.
The departmental officers briefed about the physical and financial progress including the utilization certificate, GFR, action taken report sent by the Government of India for the projects implemented under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban.
The officials of the Urban Administration Department said 1.50 lakh houses have been sanctioned in 937 projects under Self Housing Construction (BLC) by the constituent beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban in about 156 urban bodies of the state.
