RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai showered a flower shower from a helicopter on Shiva devotees in Bhoramdeo, Kabirdham district on Monday.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma accompanied him during the event.
On the occasion of ‘Saavan Somvaar’, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai showered flowers on thousands of Shiva devotees who had travelled hundreds of kilometres on foot to offer water to Lord Shiva at the ancient Bhoramdeo Temple. The event marks a historic first in the state, where the state’s head personally showered flowers on the devotees from a helicopter.
