RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh State Council of Educational Research and Training, Chhattisgarh has issued instructions to organize special activities on the occasion of ‘National Space Day’ in all schools. National Space Day will be celebrated every year on August 23 to commemorate the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission, which aims to generate interest in science and space among the youth. The theme for National Space Day 2024 is “Touching Lives by Touching the Moon: India’s Space Story”.
‘Lecture on Chandrayaan Module’ will be organized on August 22nd and 23rd showcasing the special ‘Chandrayaan based module’ developed by NCERT. Poster and essay, model building, quiz and painting competitions will be organized on various topics related to space. Also, a 30-minute video related to space science will be screened in schools.
