RAIPUR,CG: Jitendra Kumar, Director General of Forests and Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Government of India, on two-day visit to Chhattisgarh planted a Mahua sapling in Nandanvan Jungle Safari, Nava Raipur.
The tree was planted under the plantation campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan’. He visited and appreciated the painting exhibition displayed on the theme of elephant-human conflict by school students and forest department employees. After observing the painting exhibition, Jitendra Kumar also gave awards to the winning participants as an incentive.
