STARTING OF SEVEN DAY DEEKSHARAMBH-2024 PROGRAM AT MATS UNIVERSITY

RAIPUR,CG: According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, a grand Deeksharambh-2024 program was started for the newly admitted students taking admission in MATS College at Gullu Arang, MATS University Main Campus, which will run for seven consecutive days, in which students will be connected to higher education from school education and will be adapted to that environment. This Work will be done to link it with the objectives of the new National Education Policy 2020.

MATS College, operated in the main campus of MATS University, is like a lifeline in the field of education especially for the students of economically deprived class living in rural areas, in which they get Chancellor Scholarship given by the Chancellor of the University, Gajraj Pagariya, free bus service, air-conditioned classrooms and Apart from highly trained teachers, all kinds of facilities have been made available for the all-round development of the students.

The program started with the worship of Goddess Saraswati, after which the state song was sung and the newly admitted students and guests were welcomed by applying tilak. Through the welcome song and the hospitality that has been prevalent since ancient times, in the welcoming  address of the program, Principal of MATS College, Dr. AJ Khan told that MATS College is a dream project of respected Gajraj Pagariya. This is the foundation stone of the golden life of the students from rural areas who study here. The respected Chancellor has so far invested crores of rupees on the study facilities of these students so that the students and their families can become strong from the economic and social background. In this address, Principal Sir He enthralled the students and the gathering through interesting anecdotes. After that, the Registrar of the University, Gokulananda Panda explained to the students the difference between higher education and school education and he gave Gurumantra to the students to move ahead.

In the next proceeding of the program, Vice Chancellor of MATS University, Professor Dr. KP Yadav, highlighted the importance of their student life and asked the students to work hard and focus on new experiments. Director General of MATS University, Priyesh Pagariya blessed the newly admitted students, wishing them a bright future.

Thereafter, the Chancellor of MATS University, Gajraj Pagariya, while encouraging the newly admitted students on their first day in MATS University, gave them the message to bring glory to their family and the university by earning education through many inspiring stories. He also suggested that there is no other alternative to hard work. Throwing light on this, he asked the students to pay attention to the preparation for competitive examinations and ensure availability of necessary resources for them in the university. The program ended with the national anthem. 

On this occasion, heads of departments of various departments of MATS University, teachers and employees of the university administration were present. The program was conducted by Dr. Ayantika Pal and Ms. Suman Sahu and vote of thanks in this program was given by Umesh Kumar Sahu, Assistant Professor of MAT's College. The first day program of the seven-day Deeksharambh program was successfully organized with the cooperation of senior students and staff of MAT's College.
