RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh has received the gold medal in the Team Kanta competition in the West Zone Karate National Championship organized by Karate India Organization in Indore.
Raipur's karate coach and international player Dojo Padma Byohar said that Raipur's Vedika Aparajita, Shreejal Verma and Sakshi Srivastava performed best in junior team Kanta and won the gold medal for Chhattisgarh.
Rajasthan, Gujarat, Daman Diu, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh participated in the tournament. Chhattisgarh defeated Maharashtra 2-1 in the final.
